Formwork Carpenter - Washington, USA
A reputable construction company in Washington, USA is seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to join our team. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for creating and installing temporary or permanent formwork structures for various concrete construction projects.
Requirements- Minimum of 3 years experience in formwork carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and able to work at heights
- Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Construct formwork structures according to specifications provided by project managers or engineers
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, or other materials to create formwork molds for concrete pouring
- Install formwork molds securely using nails, screws, bolts or clamps
- Pour concrete into the molds and ensure it is levelled and smoothed out properly
- Remove formwork once the concrete has set and assist with finishing touches on the concrete surface if needed
- Inspect and maintain formwork equipment, identifying any repairs needed
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while on site
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per week.
Benefits- Additional benefits such as health insurance may be offered after a probation period.
The job location is in Washington but some travel within the state may be required depending on project locations.
