We are seeking motivated Environmental Technicians to join a growing team focused on environmental cleanup, sustainability, and hazardous waste management. This is a hands‑on role offering the opportunity to work in an industrial environment where you'll help support waste treatment operations, spill response, facility services, and environmental compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Safely handle, package, transport, and dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental regulations and company procedures.
  • Perform industrial cleaning and pressure washing activities.
  • Assist with wastewater treatment operations.
  • Support hazardous material spill response and cleanup efforts.
  • Perform general facility maintenance, site cleanup, and yard work.
  • Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all required documentation.
  • Follow all safety regulations, policies, and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in training programs and apply learned procedures in the field.
  • Support plant operations and assist with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with hazardous materials.
  • Experience performing general labor, environmental field work, or industrial cleaning activities.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, coveralls, hard hats, gloves, and safety footwear.
Preferred
  • HAZWOPER certification.
  • Experience with hazardous waste management, spill response, wastewater treatment, or environmental services.
  • Experience operating industrial equipment and tools.

Work Environment

This position is based at a busy environmental services facility dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. You'll work both indoors and outdoors, supporting various environmental operations while collaborating with a team of experienced technicians. New employees receive paid training that combines classroom‑style learning with hands‑on job shadowing before transitioning to independent work.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $23.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
