USALCO, LLC is a major producer with an extensive manufacturing network and a leading provider of aluminum-based component products used in water treatment, pulp and paper manufacturing, the making of catalysts for oil refining, the housing market and other sectors. The right individual will have a can-do attitude, the ability to be part of a team while operating independently, and consistently performs to very high standards.

JOB SUMMARY:

A versatile industrial mechanic installs, troubleshoots, and repairs complex factory machinery spanning mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This multi-skilled role requires performing preventative maintenance, executing emergency repairs to minimize downtime, and adapting quickly to diverse plant equipment and new technologies.

  • Diagnose and Repair: Find the root cause of equipment failures in motors, conveyors, pumps, and automated lines, then fix or replace parts.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Run routine checks, clean and lubricate parts, and service systems to stop unexpected breakdowns.
  • Cross-Discipline Tasks: Handle basic electrical troubleshooting, pipe fitting, and welding as needed.
  • System Testing: Test run repaired machinery to verify safe and correct operational performance.
  • Documentation: Log maintenance tasks and order replacement parts using computerized tracking systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Core Competencies: Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic industrial electricity.
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and welding gear.
  • Experience: High school diploma plus trade school certification or proven hands‑on industrial maintenance experience.
