Job PurposeLeads a team of case managers to work with guests on reducing barriers and achieving goals towards stability. Shares the responsibility of maintaining a safe, clean, hospitable, and dignifying environment for all guests; assisting in the provision of trauma-informed, person-first, and grace-based program services to meet the needs of all who seek TRM’s care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Supervises case management and Coordinated Entry operations at assigned campus.
- Leads case management team by providing guidance, coaching, and ensuring team members’ compliance with established standards (e.g., thorough case management sessions, individualized plans, ensuring guest’s progress toward goals, documentation, and security of records).
- Works with individual caseload as needed.
- Coordinates case manager schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Utilizes case management expertise to inform leadership of best practices and how to continuously improve case management services.
- Monitors information and transactions in the client information databases, ensuring data is kept current and accurate.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with other community agencies to offer additional support to guests.
- Administers drug and alcohol tests for shelter guests as needed.
- Travel throughout Pierce County for errands and functions relevant to the position.
- Embodies the values that form our culture to meet the organization’s mission of sharing God’s love, hope, and support with our neighbors in need to uplift communities.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support others and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
This position works primarily in an office setting with some travel to off-site locations. Interacts with diverse populations.
Schedule & Work LocationSchedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Requirements- Associate degree in Social Services or related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience working with low-income and diverse populations preferred.
- Skilled in clear and effective written, verbal, and electronic communication.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and foster teamwork in a diverse environment using effective and thoughtful interactions and communication.
- Able to respond calmly and effectively when under stress when interacting with people who have high barriers, including but not limited to people with mental illness, who may be under the influences of various substances, may have weapons, and/or may be prone to violence.
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
- Basic operating knowledge of office equipment, computers, and Microsoft Office Suites.
