Position: Youth GED Program Coordinator (Temporary)

Position Summary

The Youth GED Program Coordinator (Temporary) works with individuals with disadvantages and barriers to employment, focusing on case management to support successful completion of the GED and industry skill development. The role is based at Goodwill’s Milgard Work Opportunity Center and serves youth (16–24 years) and adults, providing case management, training, and support. Participants rely on strong community employer relationships, with a focus on job readiness and work experience.

$24.11 – $26.20 per hour

Employment Type

Part‑time, temporary position expected to continue through July 17th.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver and maintain case management and student support services designed to meet the requirements for GED attainment for Goodwill students.
  • Manage compliance with OSPI “Open Doors” regulations and relationships with contracting school districts concerning case management, supportive services, and student enrollment.
  • Use recognized best practices to engage youth and retain participation in the program.
  • Collaborate with workforce development staff, vocational school staff, and program staff to promote student success.
  • Adhere to program requirements for daily and monthly attendance, data tracking, and reporting.
  • Adhere to program requirements for purchasing, tracking, reconciling, and issuing student test vouchers for GED pre‑tests and tests.
  • Adhere to program requirements for the purchasing, tracking, and reconciliation of program purchases.
  • Interact positively with program staff, school district administrators, intervention specialists, truancy, juvenile justice personnel, and students.
  • Attend all meetings and trainings as required by the supervisor.
  • Assist in educational and service placements.
