To certify potential homes as Washington State licensed foster care homes and to coordinate the placement of children. Create and maintain Caregivers support plans. Staffs Caregiver Support Plans with CPA Program Manager. Trainer to foster parents and caregivers.

• Provides training, consultation and support to new and current foster, receiving and adoptive homes. Monitors these homes for licensing compliance and provides re-assessment when necessary.
• Arranges foster home placements.
• Coordinates pre-service requirements with perspective foster parents, i.e. training, application, CPR/first aid resources, etc.
• Provide resources and skill training to foster parents, to support the Caregiver in safely and supportively parenting the children and youth in their care Receive training and train foster parents, send links to websites with resources, send flyers for community events monthly, classes and any other type of resource that will help a caregiver parent to the best of their ability.
• Assist in accessing and providing culturally relevant services to each child. Collect and distribute fliers for culture events to caregivers monthly and inform caregivers of culture events
• Assist PTCS team to perform 24/7 crisis planning, phone coaching, in person coaching, and assistance for assigned youth. Responds to after-hours emergencies and confirm response to Supervisor and other necessary staff.
• Locate and schedule respite within PTCS licensed and certified homes when requested. Contact the caregivers with open beds that accept the child(ren)'s age and gender. Approve respite options with CPA Program Manager.
• Assist in developing support plans for youth with caregiver. Help caregiver to monitor child's progress relative to the child's service plan. Discuss progress during Care giver support plan meetings or emergent updates as they arise.
• Assist Caseworkers with safety walk throughs and certifying relative homes.
• Process new licenses, renewals, modifications in software program provided by DCYF. Monitor those licenses according to the WACS and PTCS policy.
• Develop Caregiver Support plans with the caregiver(s), within required timeframe, including actions items based on the caregiver's identified needs to support the child placed with them to be completed by the Caregiver Supports services. Send Caregiver Support Plan to CPA Program Manager for approval and signature within timeline of contract and WAC requirements. Review monthly and as needed. Conduct in person quarterly Caregiver Support planning visits to review and adjust the support plan as needed.
• Assist with coordinating Case Aide Services when CPA Program Manager is unavailable.
• Prepares monthly CPA invoices when necessary.
• Collaborates with PTCS staff in completing and routing criminal background checks.
• Performs home studies to determine the suitability of the family in becoming foster parents, including the preparation of detailed and comprehensive home studies and licensing reports.
