Rebuilding Hope Sexual Assault Center is seeking to hire a passionate and capable individual to
serve as a Client Access Specialist.

Nature of Work:

This is an on-site position located at the Rebuilding Hope headquarters in Tacoma, WA. It involves extensive contact with victims of sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and their families.

The Client Access Specialist will assist all clients requesting advocacy and therapy services, and work with clients who need more assistance in equitably accessing Rebuilding Hope’s services, often due to economic, language, cultural, technological, or transportation barriers. The employee in this position is subject to the policies and procedures of the Agency, the Program, and the direction of the Advocacy Department.

Primary

Objective:

The Client Access Specialist provides outreach and support services (in Pierce and Kitsap Counties) to primary and secondary victim-survivors of sexual assault and abuse. This position will assist Rebuilding Hope in better meeting the needs of underserved clients and providing better access to services. The employee in this position must have the ability to exercise independent initiative and judgment, subject to the policies and procedures of the agency and the direction of the Advocacy Manager and Clinical Director.

This work involves direct assistance to victims requesting therapy and advocacy services within Rebuilding Hope. This is a 30-40 hour/week on-site position.

Responsible to:

Advocacy Department, specifically Advocacy Supervisor and/or other designee.

Salary & Benefits:
  • hourly (DOE); $28.50-$31.75
  • The Agency pays 100% of premiums for health, dental, and vision care plans for full-time employees, as well as 2% contribution of the eligible employee’s salary to the Agency’s SIMPLE IRA retirement plan.

Location:

Pierce & Kitsap Counties. This position requires physical presence at service locations within the assigned counties to provide direct client services and fulfill assigned responsibilities. This Position may occasionally be required to drive longer commutes within Washington State for work purposes; mileage is reimbursed per the Agency’s policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES Client Services:
  • Contact survivors who have requested therapy services with our agency and assess current behavioral health needs, verify insurance benefits/sliding fee scale eligibility, assist survivors with completing intake forms as needed, and schedule clients for intake appointments.
