In this role, you will work on Infoblox Universal Asset Insights, which automates the discovery and analysis of both IP-based and non‑IP-based assets across public clouds, on‑premises networks, IoT/OT devices, and third‑party applications. Integrated with Infoblox’s critical network services, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, it enhances network visibility and IPAM accuracy.
You will work closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to execute the product roadmap and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable software.
- Design and develop cloud‑hosted data ingestion, transformation, and normalization pipelines that scale, perform reliably, and are maintained.
- Design and build an extensible framework that enables low‑code/no‑code integrations, allowing customers and partners to build new asset sources.
- Lead cross‑functional and global engineering teams to collaborate on building reusable software components that can be delivered as a platform.
- Drive productivity and innovation through adoption of agentic/AI platforms in the SDLC, including design, development, QA, automation, deployment, observability, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Drive product innovation through adoption of agentic infrastructure into product core capabilities, including building and productizing MCP servers, building agents, sub‑agents, and skills.
- Provide technical leadership to steer product architecture and software design, ensuring the delivery of a scalable, extensible, and reliable system.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Management and Marketing on roadmap, documentation, and other collateral.
- Stay up to date on key trends in asset insights, low‑code/no‑code remediation, data transformation, ETL, agentic AI, and related technologies.
- 8+ years of experience in software development using Golang/Go, Java, C++, or C, leveraging microservices-based Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- 8+ years of experience building large‑scale SaaS‑based network management, ETL, asset management, and data pipelines with ingestion, transformation, persistence, projection, API, and presentation layers.
- Excellent working knowledge of data modeling, APIs, system architecture, and design.
- Excellent understanding of relational, time‑series, No
SQL, and graph databases. - Strong hands‑on expertise applying agentic and AI‑driven frameworks to elevate engineering productivity, optimize performance, and strengthen system reliability, including building agents, sub‑agents, MCP servers, and skills.
- Strong hands‑on experience with performance engineering in large‑scale pipelines and active participation in resolving production incidents.
- Good understanding of networking concepts such as switching, routing, security, and preferably DNS, DHCP, IPAM, CTEM, CAASM, and ITSM.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams across different time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
In the first 90 days, you will immerse in our culture, connect with mentors, map the systems, and meet key stakeholders. You will discuss and create short‑ and long‑term goals. After six months, you will develop a deep understanding of Infoblox Asset Insights, design and develop features, contribute to code and design reviews, and identify opportunities for productivity and extensibility improvements.
By one year, you will develop major features for rapid onboarding of integrations, make significant contributions to architecture and design, improve productivity, quality, and reliability, and collaborate closely with Product Management to identify R&D areas.
- Comprehensive health coverage, generous PTO, and flexible work options.
