Job Title: Qlik Developer / BI Developer (Qlik Sense, Qlik View)
Location: Hybrid -- 3 days per week onsite in Washington, DC
Duration: Long-term contract
Interview Process: Phone screen followed by virtual technical interview
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy robust Qlik Sense and Qlik View applications to support data-driven decision-making across federal agencies.
- Lead end-to-end data integration efforts---including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of complex datasets---from source systems into intuitive, high-performance visualizations.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to translate requirements into actionable insights through compelling storytelling and interactive dashboards.
- Leverage Python and/or R for advanced analytics, automation, and data preprocessing tasks, integrated within the Qlik ecosystem.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from relational and non-relational databases.
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards, security protocols, and documentation best practices.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Qlik Developer with deep technical proficiency in Qlik Sense and Qlik View.
- Strong background in data wrangling, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience working with federal clients or on government projects (e.g., familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments.
- Certifications in Qlik Sense or related technologies.
