Forklift Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator will play a key role in ensuring the correct and timely delivery of products within the warehouse, adhering to safety standards and maintaining equipment.

• Operate forklifts safely to move and organize products within the warehouse
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
• Accurately count and record inventory levels during loading/unloading processes
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and deadlines

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Previous experience in a similar role within logistics or manufacturing
• Prior knowledge of inventory management systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime
• Experience with additional warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks
