Right now our Tacoma Warehouse is seeking a DOT Truck Driver – Class A or B – FT.

Hourly Rate: $25.75 per hour.

Position Summary:

The DOT Truck Driver operates Class A air‑braked equipped combination vehicles to and from Retail and Donation sites in a safe and efficient manner. Class B vehicles also available.

Salary: $25.75 per hour.

Schedule:

This position works 4/10s (Four, 10‑hour work days).

• Drives diesel powered tractor with 27’ or 53’ trailer between distribution center, retail stores and donation centers.
• Backs up trailer to loading dock.
• Places stairs against the back of the trailer to load items into trailer.
• May place chains on tires in snowy weather.
• No touch freight.
• Class B, transport compactors and dumpsters to landfill or transfer station.

Complete daily pre/post trip inspections and maintenance checks; ensures that all aspects of vehicle operation and material handling are done according to proper safety procedures. Responsible for vehicle’s equipment and for reporting repair needs.

Adheres to all Goodwill and FMCSA safety regulations; reports all safety hazards, incidents, and accidents immediately.

Build and maintain good rapport and relationships with customers and clients.
