Courier​/Swing Drvr​/DOT

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; offers coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area; performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

High school diploma/GED.

Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Neat appearance required as the role involves customer contact. Must meet and maintain the qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements for any employee that operates a company vehicle are detailed in policy 4‑48. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with state requirements for the assigned vehicle and have a good driving record as outlined in policy.

This is a non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and to operate safely is essential.

The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location or locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels in that job family. Actual pay is determined by several job‑related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, including, but not limited to, experience relative to the job, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.

$25.65/hr – $38.93/hr

Full‑time, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
