Job DescriptionForklift Operator – FT $25.33/hr
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Full‑time Forklift Operator at our Fife, WA service center. You will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 ft long. You will operate a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.
Responsibilities- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 ft long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed but non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read manifests and use a computer display to coordinate freight movements.
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Ability to read manifests.
- Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
- Forklift experience.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Some LTL experience.
Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment. Paid sick leave is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.
