AG-Driver, Class B

Job Title

R AG-Driver, Class B (Open) – Tacoma, WA – Filling industrial.

As the “face of Airgas,” the delivery driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company‑provided tractor trailer, straight, or box truck. The position involves loading, unloading, delivering, and returning compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers.

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies.
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Make deliveries in a timely manner.

Pay: $27.50/hr–$35.25/hr depending on hazmat experience. Bonus: monthly bonus opportunity.

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday (occasional weekend), daytime shift.

Routes:
Peninsula and East Bay.

• Valid Class A CDL or B CDL.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than three traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents within the last three years (combination weighted).
• No driving while under the influence within last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material handling equipment.

• Hazmat endorsement.
