Class B CDL Grapple Truck Driver
DM Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is hiring an experienced Class B CDL Grapple Truck Driver to operate heavy-duty grapple trucks used for debris, yard waste, and bulky material collection in the Fife area.
This role is hands-on and equipment-focused, combining skilled driving with hydraulic arm operation to safely pick up and load large materials that standard garbage trucks can't handle.
If you have experience with roll-off, heavy equipment, or other specialty trucks and are looking for a steady, full-time driving job with strong pay and benefits, this is a great opportunity.
Pay & Schedule
- Competitive hourly wage: $35.00–$35.50/hr
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- 45-hour work week with overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class B grapple trucks equipped with hydraulic arms
- Operate manual transmission vehicles (10, 13, or 18-speed)
- Pick up, load, and transport bulky debris and materials
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Secure loads and comply with DOT and company safety standards
- Work closely with dispatch and interact professionally with customers
- Accurately complete required paperwork and logs
- Always drive responsibly using company safety technology (cameras)
Working Conditions
- Physically demanding role; ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and moving mechanical parts
- Must strictly follow safety procedures at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL (Class A not required unless towing a heavy trailer)
- Air brake endorsement
- Manual transmission experience required
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- High school diploma or GED preferred
