Position: CDL Driver (Union)

Job Summary

In this role you will operate a commercial motor vehicle as a CDL A driver and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of beverages to customers.

Schedule:

Shift start times may vary depending on business needs (12:00am, 3:00am, 4:00am, and 5:00am). Pay: $30.11/HR ( $33.46/HR after completion of 1040 hours). This is a union role; shifts can change based on seniority.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations while following predetermined routes and schedules.
  • Safely load and unload beverage products, preventing damage or breakage, and maintain back rooms or back‑stock areas as requested.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, identifying and reporting maintenance or safety issues.
  • Use electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records; collaborate with the logistics team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externally.
  • Interact professionally with store personnel, establishing positive relationships with managers and staff.
  • Maintain a valid CDL‑A license and complete all assigned training.
  • Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or GED) or equivalent certificate.
  • CDL‑A license required.
  • Interstate license required.
  • Preferred ability to drive manual transmission.
  • Minimum age 21 years.
  • Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed; flexible with changing schedules, routes, and delivery demands.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers, clients, and team members.
