Job Location

Tacoma, WA and surrounding areas.

Telecon is looking for a CDL Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This is a full‑time position offering a competitive wage along with a comprehensive benefits package.

• Transport cargo and/or equipment utilizing various combinations of truck and trailer.
• Complete the driver’s daily pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete the driver’s logbook, accident, or incident reports.
• Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle (interior and exterior).
• Operate a Mini Excavator and dig around live utilities.
• Dig holes and trenches, pull cable.
• Operate tools and equipment and support the crew as needed.
• Perform general site preparation and clean‑up as directed.
• Load and unload heavy equipment in a secure and damage‑free manner.
• Other duties as required.

• Valid CDL Driver’s License with Tanker Endorsement required.
• 0–2 years of related experience in the construction or landscaping industry.
• Previous experience operating a Mini Excavator to dig and grade.
• Ability to read location surveys is a definite asset.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions year‑long.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Must be able to safely lift 23 kg (50 lbs.).
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety and willingness to receive applicable health and safety training as required by law and job duties.
• Must be willing to complete an online criminal record check to the company’s satisfaction.
