Job Description
The Box Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently handling local deliveries of frozen food products, using standard and refrigerated box trucks. This solo-driving role requires expertise in navigating routes, loading cargo securely, and maintaining a high standard of safety and customer service without overnight travel.
Responsibilities- Navigate local delivery routes efficiently and safely
- Load and unload cargo ensuring proper handling
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to safety and compliance regulations
- Manage delivery schedules to meet time requirements
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records
- 1 year experience in commercial driving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven skills in route navigation and time management
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices
- Strong communication abilities
- Familiarity with safety compliance standards
