Job DetailsFleet Safety Manager oversees driver safety, vehicle compliance, and risk management programs for our 27 commercial motor vehicle operations. Core duties typically include:
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). & Onboarding: Developing and executing safety training programs, defensive driving courses, and orientation for new drivers.
- Incident Investigation: Investigating accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage, then implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitoring & Audits: Tracking driver logs, Hours of Service (HOS), electronic logging devices (ELD), and conducting regular vehicle safety audits.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforcing company safety policies and maintaining safety records, drug-testing programs, and compliance documentation.
