Job Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, stand up rider jacks, and hand trucks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required.
- Other related duties.
Skills:
- Valid CDL A or B class license with a clean driving record. Non-CDL drivers will not be qualified for the job.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road safety procedures
- Familiarity with using GPS devices or navigation apps for efficient route planning
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- English language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
- Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Experience with refrigerated trailers or van driving is a plus, but not required.

- CDL B $28 .00/hour, CDL A $2 9 .0 0 / hour
