Smart Talent Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to support operations at a warehouse facility located in Tacoma, WA (98421). This role is ideal for candidates with prior warehouse experience who are detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

LOCATION: Tacoma, WA 98421

SCHEDULE:
Sunday through Thursday | 6am-230pm

PAY: $20.00 - $25.25 per hour

On a typical day, you will process customer and internal orders while maintaining accurate inventory records within a Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will complete daily data entry related to inventory movement, shipping, and receiving activities, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

You will also research and resolve transaction discrepancies, correct errors as they arise, and prepare both domestic and international shipping documentation. Throughout the day, you'll support general warehouse operations as needed, working closely with team members to keep workflows running smoothly and efficiently.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.

• Ability to speak, read (including fine print), and write in English.

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift objects of varying shapes, sizes, and weights.

• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull as required.

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle tools or equipment.

• Ability to work in hot or cold warehouse environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Flexible schedule availability, including possible overtime.

• Experience entering and maintaining data in a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
