General Warehouse Operator

Coastal Pacific Food Distributors, a leading wholesale food distributor serving U.S. military commissaries and exchanges, seeks a General Warehouse Operator to support daily distribution operations. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to receive, store, pick, and load grocery and food products. Responsibilities include verifying orders, using RF scanners, maintaining accurate inventory, and keeping work areas clean and organized.

You'll work in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment with opportunities for training, skill development, and advancement in large-scale logistics and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload food and grocery products safely.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
• Pick and stage orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Build, wrap, and label pallets for shipment to military commissaries and exchanges.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and proper storage practices.
• Follow all safety, food handling, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
• Report equipment issues and assist with basic equipment inspections.
• Support shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and load verification.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
