Director of Educational Services

Job Title

Under the direction of the Superintendent, is responsible for the implementation of the District's regular and Special Education programs. Develops, implements, and assesses the educational program of the District. Leads, supervises, and evaluates all educational programs and services in the District, including state and federal grants / compliance and SARB. Supervises and assesses pupil personnel services and health services personnel. Attends meetings of and provides information to the Board of Education, District Advisory Council, and other groups established by the District.

This position is located at the District Office in Taft, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three years of successful classroom teaching in an elementary or middle school.
• Successful experience as an elementary or middle school Principal.
• Increasing levels or spheres of responsibility.
• Master's Degree.
• Valid Administrative Services credential. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
