Position DescriptionThe College is seeking a pool of qualified candidates with demonstrated instructional skills to join an outstanding team of faculty and staff to provide high quality programs and services for our students. Teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on‑call and may be immediate or as needed (as specified in Education Code 8748.25). We are looking for adjunct instructors who can teach Court Reporting for inclusion in a pool for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond.
NoteTaft College Court Reporting Course(s) for this position may include in‑person and online offerings.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment
- Associate degree AND six years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment
- Or an Equivalency Determination may be submitted along with all application materials if the stated minimum qualifications are not met
Must demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Desired Qualifications- Experience teaching Court Reporting courses
- Experience with Voice Writing software and equipment
$78.86 – $92.66 per hour.
