Special Education Paraprofessional

Under the supervision of the classroom teacher, and school site Principal, assists in providing for the educational and special needs of targeted students in the classroom and performs routine clerical duties as may be assigned. This position is assigned to a Special Education classroom serving 4th and 5th grade students located at Roosevelt Elementary School in Taft, CA.

Education:

Proof of High School Diploma Associates degree, 48 semester units at an accredited college or university, or successful completion of the paraprofessional exam (provided by the district). Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
