Instructional Aide - TK

Paraprofessional Position

Under the supervision of the classroom teacher and building principal and funded by categorical money, assists in providing for the educational and special needs of targeted students in the classroom and performs routine clerical duties as may be assigned. This position serves TK students at Taft Primary Elementary School in Taft, CA.

Education:

Proof of High School Diploma, Associates degree or 48 semester units at an accredited college or university or successful completion of the paraprofessional exam. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.

• Copy of Transcript (Showing conferral of AA Degree or higher, or 48 semester units)
OR Paraprofessional Testing
• Proof of HS Graduation
• Resume
