Job Summary *
* The Receiver is primarily responsible for inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines that support store operations. The role executes receiving, inventory adjustment, reconciliation, transfer, buyback/RTV, compliance, and reporting processes while maintaining partnership with the Store Operations Manager. The updated operating model narrows Receiver ownership away from front sidewalk/sidelot presentation and backroom/dock/assembly recovery, which are owned by Operations leadership.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)*

+ Work scheduled shifts, and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.

+ Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement, Team Member coaching, and accountability for execution.

+ Use A+ Coaching routines to develop Team Members, improve selling behaviors, and reinforce consistent operating standards.

+ Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.

+ Pull waiting OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.

+ Complete BOPIS Reconciliation Report and BODFS Reconciliation Report according to company standards.

+ Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers, including new and open transfers.

+ Receive and key truck, execute truck unload plan, stage totes for Freight Team Leader, and complete Loader Feedback Survey.

+ Stock and tag direct vendor freight, front/sidelot DC freight, and leather footwear according to process standards.

+ Create Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team as assigned.

+ Key inventory adjustments and correct or adjust inventory discrepancies according to company process and Store Operations Manager direction.

+ Review Negative On Hand Report and execute required follow-up.

+ Review and execute buybacks and RTV processes.

+ Check ACT for assigned tasks and complete assigned receiving, inventory, and compliance actions.

+ Key daily defectives, print Summary Report, and submit to the Store Operations Manager.

+ Complete Fire Extinguisher sign off, Biological Cooler rotation, PER review, Battery Program routines, and hazardous waste disposal program requirements.

+ Complete monthly food expiration reviews for Feed/Food and Registers.

+ Check High Dollar List; find and label Rainchecks, BOPIS DC Transfer, and Subscription items.

+ Process UPS/Fed Ex shipments, freight claims, used oil recycling, and used tires recycling where applicable.

+ Complete Layaway Review, Special Order Review, Raincheck Review, INR Review, RGO Review, Open and New Transfers In Review, and Verify Ship to Store Orders.

+ Partner with the Store Operations Manager on inventory control, compliance, receiving standards, and process follow-up.

+ Operate forklift, baler, cash register/computer, and other equipment as needed; assist customers with loading purchases.

+ Complete all documentation associated with the above job duties accurately and timely.

+ Obtain license or certifications as needed by the business.

+ May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

** Required Qualifications*
* Experience:

Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.  Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, you must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

** Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities*
* + Basic computer skills/experience.

+ Basic math skills.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

** Working Conditions*
* + Working environment is favorable, generally working inside with moderate noise.

+ Work shifts vary from one store to another, but generally are no less than 4 hours and may exceed 10 hours

+ Indoor floors and outdoor lots generally are hard surfaces (concrete, asphalt, etc.) lighting and temperature are adequate.

+ Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

+ Promote a safe and productive work environment for Team Members and customers and adhere to Company safety training and guidelines
