Carl Albert State College, in collaboration with Northeastern State University, is seeking qualified candidates for a Graduate Assistant position within the Office of Student Life
. This is a two-year appointment designed for individuals pursuing graduate studies at NSU while gaining hands‑on experience in all aspects of Student Life at Carl Albert State College.

Responsibilities:

The Graduate Assistant will support the Vice President of Student Life as well as the Housing and Student Activities coordinators in a variety of areas, including but not limited to:

• Providing administrative support to the Student Life office, including daily operations, office management, and communication.
• Gather data and evaluate the effectiveness of student life programs and services.
• Assisting with the planning, executing, and promoting of Student Life events and activities.
• Assist with Residential Housing programs and needs.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Student Life and/or Housing and Student Activities coordinators.
• Full tuition waiver for graduate studies at Northeastern State University
• On-campus room and board at Carl Albert State College (Housing availability is limited; family and married housing is unavailable. Couples accepted into the GA program may share accommodations.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (required)
• Admission into a graduate program at Northeastern State University by August 2025
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
