Position Title: Adjunct Instructor for Health & Kinesiology
Department: Health and Kinesiology
Courses to be Taught: H ED 1113 – Principles of Health and Fitness/Wellness. H ED 2213 – First Aid/Responding to Emergencies
Position Overview: The Department of Health and Kinesiology is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach undergraduate-level courses in the areas of Health and Wellness and First Aid/Responding to Emergencies. The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate student learning across a variety of instructional formats including online, in-person, and hands‑on environments.
Qualifications- Demonstrated subject expertise in the areas listed above
- Documented experience in online teaching environments
- Commitment to high-quality instruction and student engagement
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (Doctorate preferred)
- Deliver instruction in online, hybrid, or in-person formats.
- Engage students in interactive and applied learning.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Collaborate with department faculty to maintain instructional quality and consistency.
- Uphold academic integrity and inclusive classroom practices.
- Compensation: $800.00 per credit hour.
