Overview
Pay: $120 - 125/hour
Setting: Emergency Department Overflow
Schedule: 8 AM – 8 PM, 10 AM – 10 PM, 11 AM – 11 PM, or 12 PM – 12 AM

SummarySeeking a Physician Assistant to provide care in the Emergency Department (ED). The provider will deliver patient care for both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring timely diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care in the ED Overflow setting for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and stabilization of patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions.
- Collaborate with ED staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Complete required medical records, participate in staff training, and attend meetings as needed.
- Utilize EMR systems (Cerner experience preferred, but not required).
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Must hold an active Oklahoma medical license.
- Must obtain OBNDD and Oklahoma DEA with CNHS address.
- Completion of one of the following pathways:
- ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in family practice, emergency medicine, or medicine/pediatrics, with active practice in the last 2 years.
- Current enrollment in and successful completion of at least one year of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in a general primary care specialty (with Residency Director approval).
- One year of postgraduate training in a primary care specialty plus at least 2 years of active, full-time practice in general primary care.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (required).
- Pediatric experience required.
- ED experience preferred; new graduates with recent ED clinical rotations will be considered.
- Must provide recent procedure logs (always required).
