* JOB SUMMARY:

** The Lead Therapist provides direct behavioral health services while serving as a clinical resource and day-to-day clinical lead for therapists for Tahlequah Clinic. This position supports clinical quality, documentation compliance, crisis response, clinician onboarding and development, quality improvement activities, practicum/internship students, and coordination between therapists and clinical leadership. The Lead Clinical Therapist maintains an active clinical caseload while promoting consistent, ethical, compliant, and high-quality clinical practice across the program.

The Lead Clinical Therapist works collaboratively with Clinical Leadership and communicates identified clinical, documentation, compliance, productivity, or performance concerns requiring additional intervention or leadership oversight.

* JOB DUTIES:

**- Maintain a direct clinical service expectation of approximately
** 12 billable clinical sessions per week
** and provide individual, family, and other clinically appropriate behavioral health services consistent with licensure, competency, and agency scope of practice.

- Serve as the day-to-day clinical resource for therapists, providing consultation and guidance related to client care, assessments, treatment planning, documentation, crisis response, ethical concerns, and other clinical matters.

- Review clinical documentation for quality, completeness, medical necessity, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness, with increased review and support provided to newly hired or developing clinicians as appropriate.

- Provide structured clinical support to newly hired therapists during their initial onboarding period, including guidance regarding clinical workflows, documentation expectations, treatment planning, agency policies and procedures, and standards of clinical practice.

- Monitor the clinical progress and development of newly hired therapists during the onboarding period and communicate identified concerns, additional training needs, or areas requiring further support to Clinical Leadership.

- Assist with crisis response, walk-in clinical needs, safety planning, risk assessment, and appropriate escalation of significant clinical, ethical, or safety concerns.

- Monitor and identify clinical practice concerns or trends related to documentation, caseload management, scheduling, productivity, quality of care, compliance, or adherence to agency clinical expectations and communicate concerns to Clinical Leadership.

- Support agency compliance, quality assurance, performance improvement activities, and preparation for internal audits, external reviews, accreditation activities, and regulatory monitoring.

- Participate in and assist with clinical staffing, case consultation, departmental meetings, and other clinical meetings as assigned for Tahlequah location.

- Serve as a liaison between therapists and Clinical Leadership regarding clinical needs, barriers, workflow concerns, training needs, staff development, and opportunities for improvement.

- Provide clinical guidance and oversight to practicum and internship students, including observation of clinical services, case consultation, documentation review, and feedback regarding clinical skills and professional development.

- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to practicum/intern students during client sessions, including observation, case consultation, documentation review, and feedback on clinical skills.

- Promote adherence to professional ethics, agency policies and procedures, confidentiality requirements, documentation standards, and applicable federal and state behavioral health regulations.

- Support clinicians in maintaining appropriate professional boundaries, ethical clinical decision-making, and compliance with agency standards of care.

- Communicate significant clinical, ethical, safety, compliance, or clinician performance concerns to the Clinical Director for appropriate review and follow-up.

- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation and perform other clinically appropriate duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.## Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field.

- Current independent Oklahoma behavioral health license, such as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent.

- Minimum 3 years post-graduate clinical experience.
