Cannot labor or triage patients Cannot perform initial assessments Assists with EFM, patient support, baby nurse role, documentation Baby assessments must be validated by RN Additional Notes Small unit with strong support Transfer Coordinator (House Supervisor) available for assistance In emergencies, LPN goes to OR for baby while RN remains on unit
