Title
Registered Nurse - Obstetrics
ScheduleFacility can cancel 1 shift every other week.
Assignment Details- Births per month: 15-17
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including triage and mother‑baby care.
- Collaborate with LPNs to ensure effective support for EFM evaluations, patient positioning, and documentation.
- Perform initial assessments and validate newborn assessments completed by LPN.
- Assist with gynecology surgery patients as needed.
- Support unit operations by performing tasks such as taking vitals and passing medications if floating to Med/Surg.
- Request additional assistance from the Transfer Coordinator (house supervisor) as necessary during emergencies.
