Title
Registered Nurse - Obstetrics
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- Proficiency in fetal heart monitoring
- Experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby care
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients and assist during delivery.
- Conduct triage assessments and perform mother-baby care.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any complications.
- Collaborate with LPNs to ensure quality patient care.
- Assist with gynecological surgery patients as needed.
- Support in the Newborn Nursery and Couplet Care.
- Perform tasks such as taking vitals and administering medications if floated to Med/Surg.
Compliance / Notes
- Facility can cancel 1 shift every other week.
- Nurses may work with an LPN during shifts.
