Labor & Delivery / Postpartum RN | Oklahoma

Join a compassionate women’s health team dedicated to providing exceptional care for mothers, newborns, and families. We’re seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients through childbirth, recovery, and postpartum care in a fast-paced hospital environment delivering approximately 850–900 infants annually.

Unit Overview:

5 Labor & Delivery Beds

What You’ll Do:
  • Assess, monitor, and care for obstetrical, postpartum, neonatal, and medical-surgical patients
  • Recognize and respond quickly to emergency situations involving mothers and newborns
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments and clinical needs
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed
  • Operate and monitor specialized equipment including infusion pumps, fetal monitors, ventilators, and cardiac monitors
  • Educate patients and families on preventive care, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge instructions
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality patient care
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and provide leadership and support to nursing staff and unlicensed personnel
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and ensure patient safety standards are met
What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum RN experience required
  • Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License required
  • Current certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • STABLE
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet pre-employment requirements including background check and drug screening
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
