Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Overview

A CNA’s primary responsibility is to assist residents with daily living activities. Checking vitals, delivering meals, and assisting with patient mobility are core duties, with the care of residents as the top priority.

• Assist with daily living activities, including delivering meals, providing water, and offering extra nourishment between meals.
• Help patients with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, showers; assist with dressing, turning, and mobility.
• Provide additional care as needed, such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the residents’ chart.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment is preferred.
