Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan
1. The Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences, NCHU, is seeking an assistant professor or above with the following requirements:
(1) A Ph.D. in agriculture or environment related fields from universities, in Taiwan or abroad, recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
(2) Applicants who specialize in soil environmental science or agricultural sustainability and can teach courses in related fields of this department will be given priority consideration.
(3) Applicants who should be enthusiastic in teaching, have research potential and possess experience/skill in agriculture are preferred.
(4) Candidates are expected to provide International Services Support to the Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, NCHU, and should be able to provide English-taught courses.
(5) During the interview, candidates should have a brief presentation for their representative publication in English.

4. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an on-campus interview and job talk. The job talk should be delivered in English; international candidates are required to deliver the talk in Mandarin Chinese.

(1) Recruited teacher will be given flexible salary rewards in addition to their base salary in accordance with the "Flexible Salary Reward Measures for New Teachers of National Chung Hsing University".
