Position

Description:

Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet safety, quality, and efficiency requirements.

Must be willing to work any shift in any department and on weekends.

Must be able to speak in front of a group and hold pre-shift meetings.

Basic Requirements:

• Must always have and maintain a Valid Forklift License
• Willingness and ability to motivate a team
• Good communication and organization skills
• Analytical and PC skills (must be able to function on a PC)
• High level of teamwork
• Forklift certified
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently
• Able to work overtime as needed and weekends
• AS400 and GPCS Preferred
• Must be able to Multi-Task and Work at a Fast Pace
• Must have a good attendance record and be willing to promote good attendance
• Must promote and enforce all policies which include safety
• Must lead by example with complete fairness and ethics
• Must be able to read, write, and perform mathematics
• All Section Leaders must not have received or retain more than one (1) active Level 1 Counseling/Progressive Discipline within a "rolling" 12-month period.

• In order to be considered for the position the associate must be eligible the day the posting comes down from the three (5) day posting which is Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11:59pm

  In order to be eligible for this posting you MUST meet the criteria listed below, otherwise you will not be eligible.
• The potential candidate must be a full-time associate with a minimum of 3 months of service (Associate cannot be in their New Hire Probationary Period).
• The potential candidate must not have received any formal written occurrences, other than attendance during the past 6 months.
• The potential candidate must not have less than 3.5 points during the time of posting and/or cannot reach 1.5 points while in the position. The associate must be eligible the day the posting comes down which is:
  Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11:59pm
• Note:
  
  If an associate bid on a Job Posting within their home division, but the open position is on a preferable shift, the associate will not be restricted based on Attendance Points.
• The potential candidate cannot have received a transfer from an internal posting from Division to Division within the past 12 months.
• If there are no requests for transfer submitted from eligible Associates, NSE will fill the opening as needed;
  However, NSE reserves the right to seek outside candidates.

Note:

• A manager level counseling within the past six (6) months for quality, safety, or other.
• More than three (3) or more unexcused absences within the past twelve (12) months.
• If you have received a voluntary transfer within the past twelve (12) months.
• If you have not notified management of your application.
• Can not be on an active AIP
• A manager level counseling for attendance in the past 12 months
