Talladega Superspeedway hosts major NASCAR events and the Tram Ambassador role involves ensuring guest safety and seamless tram operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading trams at tram plazas
  • Enforce speedway policies and procedures
  • Provide event information to all guests
  • Assist the tram driver in checking trams for operational readiness
  • Make PA announcements and play designated PA messages for each segment
  • Alert the driver immediately upon observing unsafe movement of guests or incidents jeopardizing fan safety, or equipment malfunction
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the tram plaza supervisor or guest services manager
Qualifications
  • Strong communications and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment
  • Efficient outdoor work in changing weather conditions for extended periods
  • Availability for nights, weekends and holidays as assigned
  • Positive attitude, friendly and outgoing
  • Follow dress code and maintain a clean, presentable appearance at all times
  • Capability to work collaboratively and take direction
  • Quick learner and trainable

Reporting Relationships:
Under close supervision of Tram Operations Supervisors, with additional responsibilities assigned by the Director of Guest Services/Manager of Guest Services.

Shift Length: 8–12 hours depending on event needs.

Seasonal/temporary event‑based position with potential smaller events throughout the year.
