Electrical Engineer I
The Electrical Engineer I researches, plans, designs, develops, analyzes and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including displays, sensors, processors, interface units and other electronic devices; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Perform design activities as assigned by supervisor
- Produce preliminary reports and analysis
- Produce preliminary schematics
- Run validation testing
- Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education, Experience & License or Certification:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
- PhD is optional
- Master degree is optional
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Specific Degree Field Preferred:
Electrical or Electronic Engineering - Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):
- ESD
- Safety Training, as dictated by Safety Department
Skills and Abilities:
- Entry level skills utilizing schematic capture tools
- Entry level knowledge of electrical analysis packages
