Job Description
A Warehouse and Assets Manager oversees operations of the warehouses to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Their duties include preparing schedules for Warehouse Assistants, training new employees on how to properly use machinery, monitoring compliance with safety standards, maintain and assign assets and vehicles, order materials, assets, uniforms, and tools as needed. The Warehouse and Assets Manager reports to the local Operations Manager and works side-by-side with the Fleet Manager for all vehicle related responsibilities.

A Warehouse and Assets Manager oversees operations of the warehouses to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Their duties include preparing schedules for Warehouse Assistants, training new employees on how to properly use machinery, monitoring compliance with safety standards, maintain and assign assets and vehicles, order materials, assets, uniforms, and tools as needed. The Warehouse and Assets Manager reports to the local Operations Manager and works side-by-side with the Fleet Manager for all vehicle related responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies, materials, and assets when delivered.
- Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.
- Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
- Assign and account for all assets, CPE, materials, and vehicles issued to employees daily.
- Maintain a “shelf stock” of materials, tools and any other job required supplies.
- Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard.
- Assist in the management, maintenance and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment.
- Follow all company policy and procedures.
- Adhere to safety policy.
- Drive company vehicles, box trucks, and forklift
- Communicate with Supervisors and Customers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Job Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license (class "C" minimum) and be willing to obtain a commercial class driver’s license if required for the position (possibly class "B" – light commercial)
- Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
- Availability to work early/late hours.
- Able to perform the essential functions required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
- Ability to maintain safe driving practices at all times while driving a Company owned vehicle.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit – 6-8 hours daily.
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to climb and balance.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs regularly.
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs rarely.
- Ability to maintain all safety expectations.
- Ability to drive covered vehicles.
