Job Overview
As a Field Merchandiser, you will independently showcase organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.50 to $15.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, and other coverage.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 6‑10 hours per week
. - Availability before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required
. - Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required.
This physically demanding job requires consistent energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and step on ladders.
Basic Qualifications- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Capability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficiency using a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
