Pay Rate: $14.34 / Hour

Sunday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site leadership and/or public officials as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
• Support operations at a government location by following post orders, observing inmate movement areas when assigned, and assisting with orderly traffic flow, visitor processing, and/or incident response.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A current CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
