Accountant I
Client is seeking an Accountant I to support accounting operations related to state and federal student financial aid and loan programs. The role is responsible for vouching deposits and disbursements, performing weekly and monthly fund reconciliations, maintaining accounting procedures and training manuals, and conducting compliance reviews of nonpublic post-secondary institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Vouches deposits and disbursements of state & federal and student financial aid/loan programs
- Performs weekly and monthly fund reconciliations
- Prepares and updates OSFA's procedures and training manuals
- Conducts compliance reviews of nonpublic post-secondary institutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
