Position: OPS GENERAL SERVICES SPECIALIST - 80900770

Ops General Services Specialist -

The Bureau of General Services is seeking an individual to work in our Support Services Section, handling administrative functions with creating and submitting IRRs, building maintenance work orders, uses My Florida Market Place (AOD) to submit and review all department purchase requisitions and invoices. Reconciles P-card purchases in Works. Monitors and resolves issues with purchase orders, invoices or P-card payments. Conducts daily administrative functions including copying, faxing, organizing, and maintaining records.

Prepares reports and correspondence using Microsoft Word & Excel. Individual will also assist with property and records management areas when needed. This position requires strong detailed oriented skills. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of working with records/files. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Proficient with all Microsoft Office Programs. Ability to manage multiple and changing work requirements and competing priorities. Maintain goal-directed behavior and performance, sometimes in a fast-paced working environment. Ability to manage time sensitive projects.

A High School diploma is required. A valid driver's license may be required. Experience working in My Florida Market Place (AOD) Preference will be given to candidates with administrative or clerical experience.

All prospective candidates will be subject to a sex offender check, criminal background checks (state, local and national) and pre-employment drug screening for direct care positions. DJJ participates in E-Verify (Employment Eligibility). A valid driver's license is required for this position. If initially hired with an out-of-state license, the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state driver's license within 30 days of hire.

Licenses suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/Employment/education only licenses) and some types of restricted licenses are not acceptable. Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
