Salary: $40,140.00

This position assists workers' compensation specialists with reviewing and evaluating medical-only workers' compensation claims, processing and paying medical and legal bills associated with workers' compensation claims and reviewing workers' compensation First Report of Injury forms.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following required entry level knowledge, skills and abilities:
Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective verbal and written communication and basic arithmetic. Ability to examine and evaluate data relating to a workers' compensation program; understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to a workers' compensation program; ability to conduct fact finding investigation; handle telephone calls in a fast, courteous and effective manner; deal with the public in a tactful and courteous manner;

work independently; utilize problem solving techniques; plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; prepare and maintain reports; perform basic arithmetical calculations.

This position is in our office in Tallahassee, FL from 8:00am – 5:00pm.
