OverviewWe are looking for a Government Operations Consultant II to support technology and operational projects, process improvement initiatives, executive briefings, special assignments, and serve as a secondary trainer and purchasing agent.
Key Responsibilities- Create templates, job aids, guidance documents and reference materials.
- Compose briefing documents, reports, and executive summaries.
- Schedule meetings, take notes, distribute information, and track action items.
- Organize information, conduct research, and maintain electronic document libraries.
- Compile and assess information to present options and recommendations.
- Serve as secondary trainer for the MQA Customer Contact Center, delivering new‑hire and ongoing training.
- Support purchasing activities: prepare requests, gather quotes, track orders, and ensure compliance.
- Liaise with outside vendors to coordinate services, scheduling, and follow‑up.
- Work special assignments on short deadlines with accuracy and quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, functions) and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills for data presentation.
- Ability to analyze regulatory information and data for management use.
- Training skills: deliver instruction in person and virtually.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Florida procurement procedures.
- Professional communication with external vendors.
- Minimum of two years in documentation processing or administrative operations.
- Experience delivering training and/or instructional support.
- Capacity to work in a professional office environment, managing interruptions and remaining seated at a computer for extended periods.
- Willingness to physically come into the office to perform job duties.
