State Representative Allison Tant is now accepting applications in her Tallahassee, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature. Salary:
Annual $47,364. The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package. This position is not eligible for virtual work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature's Joint Policies and Procedures.
• Constituent Management
• Day-to-day Operations:
  Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications
• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports
• Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System Required Legislative Filings
• Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
• Community and Public Outreach
• Mandatory Trainings as Assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
