This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Central Office, in the Office of the Secretary. The purpose of this position is to support the communications and recruitment teams by coordinating digital content, graphic design, and project logistics to ensure effective, cohesive messaging between the department and the public. This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
Job duties include assisting the department's social media channels, coordinating graphic design needs for recruitment efforts, developing formatting and graphic elements for internal communications, scheduling meetings, assisting in the development of plans, presentations, studies and reports, maintaining a system for tracking progress on projects, and assisting in other duties as assigned to support the communications team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent, knowledge of recognized industry-wide web development techniques and software/programs, knowledge of graphical design techniques and software/programs, knowledge of File Transfer Protocol (FTP) software/program, and support of knowledge, skills, and abilities demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks.
