OPS Administrative Assistant I

The Medicaid program provides low-income families and individuals with access to health care. The Agency is seeking to fill an OPS Administrative Assistant I position which provides general office support to the Medicaid Fair Hearing Unit. Duties include but are not limited to: data entry, copying, mailing, filing and typing.

Candidates must have computer experience.

What is OPS employment? OPS employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks. OPS employees are at-will employees and are subject to actions such as pay changes, changes to work assignment, and terminations at the pleasure of the agency head or designee. OPS employees do not serve probationary periods or become permanent in their positions because they serve at the pleasure of the agency head.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Typing skills, Proofreading skills/attention to detail, Using technology (computer, fax, copier), People Skills (dealing with people in person and on telephone), and Organization Skills

Minimum Qualifications Requirements:
One year experience as an administrative assistant or similar position performing administrative duties. One year of experience with Microsoft Office products.
